The keg with a
one-way ticket.

No return. No cleaning. No capital.

Recyclable one-way kegs for beverage producers who ship draught beyond their own region. Fills on your line, pours on standard draught equipment and is recycled where it is emptied.

An empty keg
earns nothing

A stainless steel keg only pays off when it comes back. On export and low-rotation routes it travels back empty, gets cleaned and refilled, and ties up capital for months. Sometimes it never comes back at all.

A Dolium keg ships one way, pours through your existing draught equipment and is recycled locally. The lower a keg rotates, the more that makes sense. On high-rotation routes stainless steel stays the better choice, so we are complementary to stainless steel kegs, not a replacement.

Increase your draught profitability by using the right combination of Dolium with your stainless steel park. Do not hesitate to contact us to help you find the right solution for each case.

New to one-way kegs?

Start with when a one-way keg pays off. Already buying them from someone else? Go straight to what makes a Dolium different.

Fill it, ship it, pour it, recycle it

Three steps, and none of them is a return trip.

01

Fill on your own line

Fills on your existing filling equipment at the same speed as stainless steel. No re-tooling, no special filling heads.

02

Ship one way and pour

Pours through standard A, G, S and D spears. The patented APRV (Automatic Pressure Relief Valve) keeps the pressure safe over the whole trip.

03

Recycle where it is emptied

The empty keg goes into the local recycling stream. Nothing is collected, nothing is cleaned, nothing travels back.

When does a one-way keg pay off?

Made for your beverage

Draught is no longer just beer. The same keg, the same draught equipment and the same no-return economics carry every product family, each with its own reason to be on tap.

What sets Dolium apart

The question is no longer whether a one-way keg makes sense, but which one. This is where Dolium differs from another one-way keg, not from stainless steel.

Patented APRV

A re-closable pressure relief valve, unique among one-way kegs. Opens at 5 bar, re-closes at 2 bar and can be released by hand to depressurise the keg when empty.

Full compatibility

All standard A, G, S and D spears. Runs on your existing lines, no re-tooling. Fills at the same speed as stainless steel and is available prefilled with N or CO2.

No return economics

No return transport, no cleaning, no capital lock-up, no deposit, no risk of loss. Nothing comes back empty, so no reverse logistics, no tracking and no write-offs abroad.

Class A recyclability (PPWR)

Class A under the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Recycled through standard recycling streams and validated by a life-cycle assessment (LCA).

No bag

A single-wall keg with no internal bag, so no second failure point. The barrier sits in the wall itself, which gives one less variable in filling and one less risk in the field.

Focus and speed

We make one-way kegs and nothing else, with short lead times when you need them. Every size, from the 12.5L SlimLine to the 30L Prime, is delivered within 2 weeks.

The questions
buyers ask first

Buyers rarely open with the sustainability story. They open with compatibility, product quality, beverage integrity and cost, because those four decide whether a one-way keg can work at all in their operation.

Will it work with my filling & dispense equipment?

Yes. Every keg comes with a standard A, G, S or D spear and runs on your existing filling and draught equipment. No special heads or couplers needed.

Does it hold pressure and quality?

The patented APRV (Automatic Pressure Relief Valve) opens at 5 bar and re-closes at 2 bar. An oxygen barrier and a CO₂ loss of less than 5% after 6 months protect the beverage in transit.

How does the cost compare to stainless steel?

No capital, no cleaning, no return logistics, no loss. On low-rotation and export routes that is a lower total cost than stainless steel.

How long can my product sit in it?

Up to 18 months of barrier protection. The product sheets give a best before date of 18 months after production, and the CO₂ loss stays below 5% after 6 months.

Which sizes can I get, and how fast?

Four volumes: 30L Prime, 24L Prime, 20L SlimLine and 12.5L SlimLine, delivered within 2 weeks. Every model comes with a standard A, G, S or D spear, and can be prefilled with N or CO₂ if you want.
